Glamping tent by the water with a beautiful view over the stunning Frisian landscape
Come and enjoy a unique overnight stay in one of our atmospheric glamping tents, right by the water. From your own covered terrace, you look out over the beautiful Frisian landscape, a place where you can unwind immediately. The glamping tent is spacious and equipped with its own cooking facilities, a dining area, a fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, and kettle. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. The sanitary building is located just 50 meters away. Upon booking, you will receive a personal access code for the sanitary facilities. You can easily top up your shower credit using the same code (cost: €0.20 per minute). The bed linen is ready for you, so you can relax immediately. Furthermore, one of our glamping tents features a hot tub, which you can book for an additional €75. This can be arranged on-site, but please reserve in advance so that we can heat the hot tub for you in time. In the evening, you can enjoy the silence, nature, and the view over the water on your covered terrace—a wonderful place to end the day. Finally: parking is free on our premises.

De Appelhof is located in Wommels, a small village in the province of Friesland. It lies directly on the water of the Bolswardertrekvaart (Frisian and officially: Boalserter Feart) and is centrally located between the cities of Bolsward, Sneek, Franeker, and Leeuwarden. Dear guest! How wonderful that we may (possibly) welcome you to one of our accommodations at De Appelhof. You can come to me with any questions you may have! But beforehand, it is probably nice to know where and who you will be dealing with. My name is Iris de Boer, and I am a young and, above all, enthusiastic entrepreneur with a passion for the recreation industry. I love continuously meeting new people (and hearing their stories). This gives me energy, and my goal is therefore to provide you with a unique and wonderful experience in our tiny house, where fun, enjoyment, comfort, relaxation, and affordability come first.
