Bij de Genieterij is located in the Frisian meadows, surrounded by nature. The site is part of meadow bird management, where you can spot black-tailed godwits, lapwings and oystercatchers. You regularly see hares and deer. Or make use of the spacious garden, where you can relax in a hammock or make a fire to prepare bread, pizza or other dishes. With great enthusiasm, we, Arnold and Lyda, have been the new owners of Camping Coldum since February 2025. A small campsite in the middle of the greenery in the Frisian landscape. Feel welcome in our comfortable Tiny houses where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and really relax.
Tips from the host
So many nice villages, interspersed with forests and lots of water. Countless winding roads and cycle paths take you through the beautiful Frisian landscape. You can enjoy the water in this region. With your own or rented sloop or motorboat. But certainly also sailing, canoeing or on the Sup. On your bike you can easily explore the area on your own with the help of the cycle junction map and don't forget to visit the 7 picturesque Eleven Cities towns in our area.
