Detached holiday home at the Idzegaasterpoel in Heeg
From this lovely detached family house you can see the sails of the skûtsjes and sailing yachts on the Heegermeer sliding through the landscape in the distance. From the sitting area you have a view over the beautiful Frisian countryside. It is the ideal place to relax, to enjoy socializing and the beautiful surroundings. In the living room there is a large dining table and a cozy sitting area with patio doors to the outside with a view over the beautiful Frisian countryside. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob, combi microwave, freezer, refrigerator, toaster, kettle and Senseo. Salt, pepper, oil and vinegar are also present. On the ground floor you will also find a bedroom with two single beds and an adjoining bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The utility room has a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with two single box-spring beds and a bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. From the balcony of the first bedroom you have a panoramic view of the meadows and the Heegermeer.

The Bird House is detached and has plenty of space around the house. It is within walking distance of the center of Heeg (900 m) and is located on the open waters of the Idzegaasterpoel. The Heegermeer and other beautiful sailing areas are easily accessible via the swing bridge in Heeg. The village of Heeg has several restaurants, a supermarket, a butcher and a bakery. Within fifteen minutes you are by car in IJlst or Sneek, two of the famous Eleven Cities of Friesland.

- The beds are made upon arrival and there is a large and small towel for everyone. There is also kitchen linen available; - The minimum age of the main tenant is 25 years; - It is not allowed to hold (bachelor, student) parties and/or other events in the Birdhuis; - The adjacent pasture (up to the brown posts) may be used for sports and games; - Sloops, falcons, canoes, surf/SUP boards can be rented in consultation.

Tips from the host
Located in the most beautiful sailing area of Friesland, it is recommended to explore the area by water. This can be done, for example, by sailing boat (Valk), canoe, SUP or sloop. For rental you can contact Renske.
