Spacious safari tent on a cozy campsite by the water
The campsite has two sturdy and robust safari tents that can accommodate five people. The tents are modern and luxuriously furnished. The front of the safari tent can be fully opened, which creates a wonderfully open feeling in good weather. In addition, each tent has a terrace with an awning, so that you can sit outside comfortably even in bad weather. Inside you will find a spacious and cozy front cabin where you can relax. The kitchen is fully equipped and has running water. In the kitchen cupboard there are pans and crockery ready to serve all the delicious food you prepare on the electric hob. The kitchen is also equipped with a refrigerator, a coffee maker and a kettle. The tent has two sleeping cabins. Both cabins have a double bed (140 × 200 cm), and in one of the rooms there is also a bunk bed. Bed linen is included, so that you can enjoy a good night's sleep without any worries. Although the safari tents do not have their own sanitary facilities, you can use our spacious, modern sanitary building on the campsite, where you can shower for free. The campsite offers various accommodations for rent, from a luxury log cabin to a holiday home on the water! This way you will always find a stay that suits you. The campsite is located in Oudega, municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân, Oudega SWF for short, and with a few minutes walk you are already in the cozy heart of the village. The campsite is located directly on the Oudegaaster Brekken and has its own camping harbor. Here you can rent your own berth for a (rented) boat for an additional fee. Boats on hand trailers can be set up on your own camping spot. The campsite also has a swimming beach, a trailer ramp and playground equipment. Various activities for young and old are also organized during the school holidays. The village of Oudega has a cozy small village center with several restaurants and a terrace on the water. You will find the 'Doarpswinkel Aldegea', a small but well-stocked supermarket. From fresh croissants and fruit juices in the morning to a fully catered barbecue: the range leaves nothing to be desired for your relaxing holiday in Oudega. A little further on in the village you can rent a sailing boat, sloop, sup or canoe at Watersportbedrijf De Werff to explore the water around the campsite and the village. Both wide open waters and sheltered ditches and pools can be found in the immediate vicinity of the village.
Location
This cozy campsite is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Waterland van Friesland, directly on the Oudegaaster Brekken. This lake is ideal for various water sports and has an open connection, without bridges, with the Heegermeer and the Fluessen. The small-scale family campsite is therefore extremely suitable for true water sports enthusiasts. The campsite has camping pitches, 3 holiday homes right on the water, several safari tents (2, 4 and 5 persons) and 2 log cabins. For the little ones there is a playground and a children's beach. A stone's throw from the campsite is the center of the village of Oudega with its village harbour, nice restaurants and all amenities.

Pets and smoking are not allowed in the accommodations. The main booker must be 18 years or older. We welcome those seeking peace and quiet, which is why parties and large groups are less suitable. We ask for silence on the campsite between 23:00 and 07:00, so that everyone can enjoy a good night's sleep.

Introduction
Watersportcamping De Bearshoeke is a small-scale family campsite, run by an enthusiastic and experienced, small management team. The campsite, together with the Doarpswinkel Aldegea, falls under the Recreatiestichting Oudega SWF. This foundation aims to promote tourism in and around Oudega with an eye for the quality of life for the village and the surrounding nature. Tips from the host
In the immediate vicinity you can indulge yourself if you like walking, cycling, sailing or just want to read a book. You can rent a boat at Watersportbedrijf De Werff, directly across the water, and you can moor it at our campsite to get in and sail away. Or book a surfing lesson at Windsurfschool Skills. They can be found on our site during the high season and during the holidays in the pre-season. Oudega is located on the edge of a Natura 2000 area, and every season in this area is beautiful. Or visit one of the surrounding villages and Eleven Cities towns!
