Spacious camping pitches directly on the lake
This campsite is located on the water in the beautiful lake area of Southwest Friesland and offers many facilities. There are twenty-eight spacious pitches available, all equipped with a power connection (10 amps) and free Wi-Fi. Because the pitches are located directly on the lake, you can step straight from your tent, caravan or camper into your boat or onto your surfboard. In addition, there is a spacious toilet building with toilets, 6 showers, a launderette and a baby room.

Camping Ykema
The campsite is located on the water in the beautiful lake area of Southwest Friesland and has many facilities. In addition to the possibility to reserve a place for your tent, caravan or motorhome, it is also an option to choose the group accommodation, the log cabins or glamping tent. The group accommodation is suitable for groups up to forty people, but can also be booked for smaller groups. The log cabins and glamping tent are suitable for a group of up to five people. There is also a nice spacious toilet block with toilets, 6 showers, a launderette and a baby room. The 6 showers are equipped with automatic showers and work on € 0.50 cent coins. A disabled room is available for our guests who have difficulty walking. There is an opportunity to do your dishes on the side of the toilet block.
Location
The campsite is located near the village of Sandfirden in Friesland, in the middle of meadows and lakes. It is a small campsite on the water and is located on 'De Flakke Brekken'. This is in open connection with the Heegermeer and the Fluessen. Because 'De Flakke Brekken' is not a through waterway, you can enjoy plenty of space and peace here. The campsite is situated around a farm where goats, chickens, rabbits and sheep roam around. In addition, the conditions are ideal for sailing/boating. There are also beautiful cycling routes and there is always something to do in the area of Sûdwest-Fryslân.
