Cosy holiday home in a farmyard
This cozy detached holiday home is located on the grounds of a farm, so you can optimally enjoy peace and space and have a beautiful view over the meadows. The house has a cozy veranda and outdoor area with play facilities for children. On the ground floor there is a spacious living and dining room as well as the sufficiently equipped kitchen. This has a dishwasher and microwave, among other things. On the ground floor there is also the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, and a first bedroom. This has a comfortable double bed. Via the stairs in the living room you reach the first floor with a large dormer window, here is the second sleeping area with a double bed and two single beds. The space between the sleeping areas is separated by cowboy folding doors. There is also a cot here, this can also be taken down on request. Due to the spacious dormer window there is sufficient standing height and you can enjoy a beautiful view!

This cozy holiday home is located on the edge of the cozy village of Wijckel. The house is located in the yard of a farm, but is completely detached, so you can enjoy peace and space. Also nearby (3 km) is the village of Balk, where you can do your shopping and find various nice shops. The Gaasterland forests are located about 5 kilometers away, where you can enjoy beautiful walks and cycling. The town of Sloten is also worth a visit. The Slotermeer with its beach is nearby (2.5 km) and there is also plenty of opportunity for fishing. Located on the bicycle nodes route point 32 and various walking routes.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im wunderschönen Friesland. Ein wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Natur und der Empfang mit Blumen und friesischem Zuckerbrot war super!

Introduction
We are the residents and owners of the farm and the holiday home. Receiving guests in our yard is a pleasant atmosphere. You can come and go wherever you want with us, the doors are usually open. Hospitality is of paramount importance. Our three children can also speak to you with ease.
Tips from the host
You should not miss a visit to the historic picturesque town of Sloten. But you can also visit the other cities of the Elfstedentocht. You can rent bicycles through us or directly from Mous Tweewielers in Balk, who will ensure that the bicycles are at the holiday home upon arrival. A luxury! You can visit the Gaasterland forests and lakes in any way that suits you.
