Cozy apartment with terrace in a modern farmhouse
Step into this cozy apartment and immediately experience the welcoming atmosphere and tranquility of Frisian country living. The apartment sleeps three to five people: downstairs, there's a sofa bed for the fourth and fifth guests, while upstairs you'll sleep on a comfortable double box-spring bed and a single bed. The modern bathroom includes a sink, walk-in shower, and toilet. Beds are made upon arrival, and a basic supply (pepper, sugar, coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper) is provided. Enjoy free Wi-Fi and easy parking right outside. There's no TV in the apartment, but a Chromecast-enabled screen is available in the common area if you'd like to watch something. Just a stone's throw from the IJsselmeer and picturesque Hindeloopen, you'll discover a cozy and comfortable farmhouse apartment. Choose from four spacious family apartments for 5-6 people or a cozy room for two. Coming with a large group? Then you can rent the entire farmhouse as group accommodation for up to 26 people. In addition to the apartments, you'll also have access to a shared common room and kitchen. The recently renovated apartments are fresh, modern, and comfortable, while retaining the authentic character of the old farmhouse. Outside, you'll find plenty of space to relax or be active: go-karts, a ping-pong table, playground equipment, a large lawn, barbecues, a charming fire pit, and rental bicycles. Location
The farm is situated in a secluded, rural setting, surrounded by expansive meadows. Within a few minutes, you'll find yourself on the old sea wall with a magnificent view of the IJsselmeer. A 20-minute walk, via the historic Badpaviljoen (Bath Pavilion), will take you to the charming town of Hindeloopen. Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element here: the IJsselmeer beach is just 500 meters away and is the ideal spot for kiting, surfing, or swimming. Cycling and walking are plentiful, with beautiful routes along the Frisian lakes, through nature reserves, and along the famous Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour) trails. A peaceful nature reserve with a birdwatching hut is also just a short walk away. For a day trip to the city, the towns of Workum, Sneek, Bolsward, Franeker, and Leeuwarden are easily accessible.
