Aquacamping en Jachthaven De Rakken - Kampeerpods
New camping pods on the water
Three brand-new camping pods have been available on the Aquacamping & Jachthaven de Rakken site since December 2025! These pods can be booked from January 2026. The current photos give an impression of the atmosphere, as work is still underway to furnish the pods. The camping pods consist of two sections: a living area and a sleeping area. The sleeping area contains a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and two single beds (90 x 200 cm). The living area includes a kitchenette with a refrigerator, electric stove, kettle, and Nespresso machine. A full kitchen inventory is also provided. There is a bench with a table and two chairs, as well as a freestanding armchair. There is also ample storage space. The camping pods do not have private sanitary facilities or running water, but one of the sanitary buildings is less than a minute's walk from the pods. All three pods are fully insulated and equipped with heating. This means you can spend the night comfortably in the pods all year round.

Aquacamping en Jachthaven De Rakken
De Rakken is a beautifully situated holiday park on the outskirts of Woudsend. There is a spacious campsite, hikers' cabins and you can rent holiday homes for six people. You can moor or rent your own boat in the harbor. At the reception you can rent (electric) bicycles, but also sups and kayaks! Within a few minutes walking distance you are in the cozy center of Woudsend with a number of shops, restaurants and a supermarket and bakery.
Location
De Rakken is a stone's throw from the village center of the pleasant water sports village of Woudsend. The campsite is located directly on the water, in the heart of the Frisian Lake District. In Woudsend you will find various restaurants, cafes, shops and markets. In fifteen minutes you can drive to the Elfstedenstad Sneek, located on the Sneekermeer with a lovely beach. In addition to camping pitches and a marina, the beautiful green campsite also offers comfortable detached holiday homes. These are quietly located in a natural environment, near the water. The campsite is also a perfect base for a lovely walk or a beautiful bike ride along the Frisian lakes. In short: the ideal place to relax and fully enjoy!
