
The standard camping pitches at De Rakken are located a short distance from the water. Each pitch offers approximately 80 m² of space on a well-maintained lawn and features its own power connection of at least 8 amps. The sanitary building is located close to the camping pitches. Here, you can make free use of hot showers and other sanitary facilities. Additionally, there is a central water tap on the camping field. Motorhomes are also welcome on the standard camping pitches. Please note that these pitches do not have a paved surface.

At De Rakken, you will find spacious camping pitches, three camping pods, two hiker's cabins, and five comfortable holiday homes for six people. The marina offers berths for your own boat and opportunities to discover the Frisian Lake District from the water. There is also plenty to do on land. At the reception, you can easily rent a (electric) bicycle, SUP, or kayak to explore the surroundings. From De Rakken, you can easily cycle, walk, or sail through the varied landscape of Southwest Friesland. Within a few minutes' walk, you can reach the charming center of Woudsend, with cozy terraces, restaurants, shops, a supermarket, and a bakery. An ideal base for those who want to enjoy peace, water sports, and the beautiful surroundings.
Aquacamping & Marina De Rakken is situated directly on open waterways, between Lake Slotermeer and Lake Heegermeer, within walking distance of the characteristic watersports village of Woudsend. Here, you stay right in the heart of the Frisian Lake District, surrounded by water, nature, and the tranquility of the Frisian landscape. In Woudsend, you will find cozy terraces, restaurants, shops, and historic streets that recall the village's rich watersports past. The Eleven Cities town of Sneek is also nearby and can be reached in about fifteen minutes. De Rakken offers spacious camping pitches, a marina, and comfortable detached holiday homes, hiker's cabins, and camping pods in a unique waterside location. From the campsite, you can step right aboard for a boat trip on the Frisian Lakes, or discover the surroundings via the many cycling and walking routes through Southwest Friesland. Whether you come to sail, cycle, explore the area, or simply enjoy peace and quiet: De Rakken is a great base for a relaxing stay by the water.
