The 42-inch digital television has a standard channel package, and you can easily connect your own laptop, phone or tablet via the HDMI–USB-C connection. The room has a spacious, lockable bathroom with a free/occupied lock, equipped with a shower and toilet. There is a mirror cabinet with hygiene products and a hairdryer. The shower cabin has a comfortable rain shower for a relaxing start to the day. Finally, each room has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, storage space, a sink and a combination microwave. The round seating area can be used as a workspace or to enjoy a simple meal.

De Witakker
De Witakker is located in the middle of the village of Rijs. This area is known for its rolling and wooded surroundings, close to the IJsselmeer and the Frisian lakes. Situated on the ancient Rijsterbos and within walking distance you can blow out on the IJsselmeer coast.

In the heart of Rijs lies the former school building De Witakker, which has been converted into a luxurious and comfortable holiday accommodation. Within a few minutes you can walk into the beautiful, centuries-old Rijsterbos or make beautiful bike rides through the rolling Gaasterland. The Mirnserklif, one of the three cliffs in Friesland is also easy to reach and offers magnificent views over the IJsselmeer.

The 11Stedenhuis has 5 rooms. During their stay, guests can use the communal living room Trochrinner: an atmospheric space with a fireplace, a large round sitting area and a cosy trestle table. An ideal place to get together, play a game or just relax. The 11Stedenhuis is furnished with elements from Frisian folk art and decorated with objects and school posters that refer to the former function of the location: the old primary school De Witakker. The location of De Witakker is located in the wooded area of Rijs, located in Gaasterland. A varied rolling landscape with forests and hills. The location is close to the Rijsterbos for a lovely walk and to the IJsselmeer coast. There are restaurants within walking distance in the area.

Important to know
-Start the day well, with a delicious fresh breakfast. For the breakfast service we have a partnership with the neighbours Brasserie Rijsterbosch. Breakfast can be booked separately for € 15 p.p. and is served at the neighbours. -Lockable covered bicycle shed, with sufficient charging points -Charging electric bicycles is free of charge. Charging cards from almost all providers are accepted for charging electric cars. -During your stay we ensure that your privacy is respected. Cleaning and making beds in your room are only carried out on request. -The accommodation has an internal sports hall. Please note that there may be background noise from the sports hall between 8:30 and 22:00. -The kitchenette is only suitable for preparing small (microwave) dishes.
