The campsite offers a spacious camping spot directly on the water, each equipped with a 16 amp power connection. The campsite is clearly laid out and offers a friendly atmosphere with sufficient privacy. The modern sanitary building has six showers, six toilets and four washing-up areas. In addition, the campsite has its own harbour with trailer ramp and offers direct access to the Frisian Lakes. To reserve a camping spot on this campsite, you must contact the landlord directly.

Hello, my name is Betty Bakker and I have been running our campsite for 25 years. As a 'true' Frisian, I feel completely at home in It Heidenskip, the land of wind and water. I enjoy receiving our guests at our uniquely situated campsite in this beautiful water-rich environment. The liveliness of the water, the tranquility of the vast meadows, the beautiful skies, the friendly atmosphere of the campsite and the nice contact with the guests makes being a hostess a party!
Tips from the host
For water sports enthusiasts this is a unique place, because it is centrally located in the Frisian Lakes. Cyclists can also follow beautiful routes here, partly due to the presence of ferries. A visit to the cozy water sports villages, the Frisian Eleven Cities or the typical Frisian sports (fierljeppen, kaatsen and skûtsjesilen) is definitely worth it. Would you rather seek out peace and quiet? In Gaasterland you can walk endlessly in the woods or look at the IJsselmeer coast.
