Fakânsjehûs is located on the edge of the quiet village of Jirnsum, in the heart of Friesland. The village is located on the Boorne and directly connects to the Frisian lake area. For cyclists and hikers is an excellent location. The cottage is located directly on several beautiful cycling routes. The area offers plenty of cycling and walking routes, along lakes, dikes and through nature reserves such as De Alde Feanen. The cities of Sneek and Leeuwarden are easily accessible.

Tips from the host
From our holiday home you can walk straight into the beautiful surroundings. A 1000 year old dike meanders through the Frisian landscape. The cities of Sneek and Leeuwarden are within cycling distance and you can easily walk to Grou.
