Hylperhuis
In the center of the Elfstedenstadje Hindeloopen you will find the Hylperhuis, also known as the House of Ham. Two luxurious double rooms have been realized on the first floor of this authentic house, in which you can spend the night entirely in Hindelooper style. The rooms are decorated with the following theme: 'Flora and Fauna' & 'Shipping' Both rooms have two luxurious single box-spring beds and a private bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The rooms also have a kettle and a mini fridge. The rooms are accessible by stairs. There is no elevator in the house.

You will find this Captain's House the Hylperhuis, also called the House of Ham, centrally in the Elfstedenstadje Hindeloopen. Hindeloopen is located on the IJsselmeer and is car-free. Picturesque Hindeloopen is known for its paintings and stylish costumes from the past. You will also find plenty of this in the romantic rooms of the Hylperhuis. In the town you will discover the history of the important trading city on the IJsselmeer. You can enjoy a lovely walk on the dike, the bridges, past authentic town houses and you will find special vistas. There are numerous restaurants, terraces, shops and museums. Pay a visit to the first Frisian Skating Museum with the largest collection of skates in the world. If you are looking for a larger town or city, then you are close to Sneek, Bolsward, Workum and Stavoren.

In our croissanterie at Jachthaven Hindeloopen you can enjoy freshly baked rolls, delicious coffee and fresh orange juice. It's up to you whether you take the sandwiches to Het Hylper Huis or whether you take a seat in the breakfast room. You can park your car for free on the grounds of Jachthaven Hindeloopen. Hindeloopen itself is car-free. Loading/unloading at the house is possible. If you want to explore the surroundings of Hindeloopen by bicycle, you can rent bicycles at the harbor office of Jachthaven Hindeloopen. Guests of the Hylperhuis can use the swimming pool at Jachthaven Hindeloopen free of charge.
