Spend the night in a museum environment
For a unique experience you have come to the right place. You will spend the night in a museum environment, because the house from 1783 with adjoining courtyard is part of the museum section. You can stay overnight in an 18th century environment. The entire house has been restored and equipped with underfloor heating and a bathroom with modern sanitary ware that meets the requirements of the 21st century. There will be enough information in the building to enjoy the environment in which you sleep. Drinking a glass of wine from an 18th century glass is part of this unique experience.

Location
This museum house is located in the village of Woudsend, a historic national monument from the 18th century. Woudsend is located between the Heeger and Slotermeer and is therefore strongly focused on water sports. The center has a number of shops, a supermarket, fresh bakery, various eateries and a harbor. Also many sights, such as two working mills, churches, galleries, restored buildings, narrow alleys and surprising vistas. During the summer holidays, a nostalgic farmers' market is organized every Thursday, where you can go for fresh regional products and other surprising items. The village is located northwest of the Elfstedenstad Sloten, within fifteen minutes you are in the Elfstedenstad Sneek with, among other things, the Waterpoort, fountain and a pleasant city center.
