This campsite is located in the middle of nature, on the edge of the pleasant village of Easterlittens. The area is ideal for walking and cycling, but also for SUPing and canoeing! In addition to the camping pitches, there are various different accommodations at the campsite. Easterlittens, a cozy village on a waterway, offers an atmospheric base. For groceries, you can drive to nearby Winsum in five minutes by car. With its central location, the Frisian cities of Leeuwarden, Franeker, Bolsward and Sneek are all within easy reach, both by bike (15 km) and by car. The campsite is surrounded by picturesque paths along the water and by nature reserves, making it an ideal base for walking and cycling tours. The fish-rich waterway is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Enjoy the peace and beauty of the area, while still having easy access to the lively cities nearby. A perfect place for relaxation, recreation and experiencing all the beauty that Friesland has to offer.

We are Remco and Ester, proud owners since 2020 and parents of two sons, born in 2019 and 2021. With a background in catering and installation technology, it was a dream for us to run this beautiful recreation company. Our passion for freedom and the warm, friendly atmosphere of this place makes every day here a valuable experience. It is worth gold to see how people here are always cheerful and happy. We were attracted by the unique environment and natural character of the campsite, surrounded by lush greenery and main waterways. Our goal is to leave our mark on this special place and make it even more beautiful and natural.
Tips from the host
Our accommodation is within walking and cycling distance of the beautiful nature reserves Skrins and Skrok. Explore these areas and spot various meadow birds from the bird watching huts. Another recommendation is a trip to nearby Franeker, home to the oldest working planetarium in the world. Be enchanted by the starry sky in this historic university town! For a unique experience, we recommend a visit to Wiuwert, where you can discover the burial vault in the church with mummies.
