At camping Kaepwei 5 you are in the middle of vast green meadows and the Frisian lakes. Here you can experience an adventure on the water in one day, take a dive from the swimming jetty and see the starry sky at night. The site is pet-free and smoke-free so that you can enjoy yourself in optimal peace. This camping cannot be booked directly through the VVV. Camping Kaepwei 5
This small-scale campsite is beautifully situated between the meadows, with its own harbour and swimming jetty, just outside Gaastmeer. From Camping Kaepwei 5 you can immediately enter the open waters and explore the Frisian lakes. The campsite is also ideal for exploring the area by bike; the bicycle ferry takes you to the Elfsteden town of Workum in 20 minutes (6 km). The villages of Gaastmeer, Oudega and Heeg are also easily accessible by bike. In addition to the camping pitches, there is also a Tiny House and you can rent a key largo (motorboat) with driver.
