Just a stone's throw from the IJsselmeer, in the small village of Gaast, you will find Landgoed Koepeltjesplaats. Here is a B&B with several holiday homes. At this location you can fully enjoy peace and space and, after a short walk, get a breath of fresh air on the former Zuiderzeedijk. Hello, we are Ilse and Rob, who once moved from Amsterdam to Friesland. Renovated for years for a different future! From a busy catering life to a creative hostess at Landgoed Koepeltjesplaats. We like to meet people who love peace, nature, flora and fauna. Cyclists, walkers, touring guests, water sports enthusiasts, families and family friends outings also have a place in our hearts.
Tips from the host
The sea dike of the IJsselmeer with benches and an amazing view is a 350 meter walk away. You can walk or swim from the dike down into the IJsselmeer. The sunset is super "always enjoy". A nice walk to the Ral bird watching hut, 2 km away, can be done via the dike road or on the dike among the sheep. The village of Gaast has a lot of history and we have information available.
