Luxury four-person holiday lodge with 2 bathrooms, air conditioning, charger and sauna
Enjoy a wonderful stay in this air-conditioned holiday lodge. The lodge not only has two bedrooms but also two bathrooms! Each bedroom has extra long box-spring beds and each has its own bathroom with rain shower and sink. There is a separate toilet. There is also a sauna in the garden. Its use can be booked as an option. This garden is situated on the south/southwest, so you can enjoy the sun. The garden has a lounge sofa, garden furniture, parasols and a Weber gas barbecue. The private parking space next to the holiday lodge has a charging station (can be used for a fee) and there is a lockable bicycle shed. There is a spacious living area and a very well-equipped kitchen that is fully equipped. In the utility room you will even find a washing machine, dryer and separate freezer.

Location
On an island (accessible by bridge) near Grou you will find the holiday park Yn'e Lijte (NL: In de lee). From this park you can enjoy the Frisian lakes, the charming village of Grou or explore one of the Eleven Cities. The Alde Feanen National Park is nearby and definitely worth a visit. Walking, by bike or in a rental boat. From the accommodation you can also take the beautiful cycle route '8 van Grou'. You can store your (rented) bicycle in the bicycle shed next to the holiday lodge.

Special about this accommodation
This holiday lodge with two bathrooms is gas-free and has air conditioning and underfloor heating. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The outdoor sauna with cold water shower can be booked optionally for the duration of your stay. The sauna can be used as a Finnish (infusion) sauna for 4 people or as an infrared sauna for max. 2 people at a time. You can store your bicycles safely and dry in the compact, lockable bicycle shed. Guests of the Riereiger Holiday Lodge receive a discount voucher for the rental of an electric sloop.

Important to know
- Please note: this is only the price for the stay! Mandatory additional costs are charged by the landlord. The tourist tax is €1.65 per person per night for guests aged 5 and over. Additionally, an environmental fee of €1.90 per person per night applies, as well as a linen package of €13 per person per stay. A security deposit of €125 per stay is also required. These costs are paid directly to the landlord. - One car can be parked at the location and charged if desired (a special key is attached to the keyring). A second car can also be parked at the house or in the Yn'e Lijte parking lot. - No pets, and smoking and parties are prohibited.

Introduction
We (Janny and Ivo) are both self-employed and enthusiastic water sports enthusiasts. We are both originally from Rotterdam. After working and living in Brabant for a number of years, we have lived in the province of Groningen since 1998. Friesland has been our favorite sailing area for over 15 years. The super cozy Grou in particular was always a place to go to for a few days by boat. Since 2021, we have even been permanently moored in Grou with the boat and we have also come to appreciate Friesland by bike. Because of that 'love' for Friesland and Grou, we looked for a nice recreational spot for 'later'. That is how we came to place the Riereiger on Yn'e Lijte in 2021. Due to the enthusiastic responses to the rental, the Grutte Fiif Safarilodge followed in 2023 and the Ralreiger Chaletlodge was added in 2024. We hope that you will be (or already are?) just as enthusiastic about Friesland and Grou!
Tips from the host
The Rietreiger Holiday Lodge is located near the bicycle ferry to Grou. This sails (from approximately April 15 to mid-October) to the center of the village in a few minutes. The ferry is also part of the beautiful cycle route '8 van Grou' that you can cycle from the Rietreiger in one or more days.
