Holiday home on the water with private jetty
The house is situated on the water with its own jetty and offers a garden with lots of privacy at the front and back. On both sides there are tables for outdoor dining, and there is a lounge set by the water. The spacious living room has a dining table with 10 chairs, two sitting areas (one with TV, one by the fireplace), and is separated from the well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a new bathroom: 3 rooms with 2 box springs each, a small room with a bunk bed (top bed not suitable for adults) and downstairs there is a sofa bed.

On the edge of the village of Idskenhuizen you will find this lovely holiday home. From the house you can sail in no time with your own (rented) boat onto one of the Frisian lakes. Near Idskenhuizen you will find Sint Nicolaasga, with a large supermarket, various shops and restaurants. The idyllic village of Langweer is also within cycling distance.

Special about this accommodation
This house is located directly on the water and offers plenty of water fun, with a sup and surfboard. Just 100 meters away is a beach on a shallow lake, ideal for swimming or surfing. At the Neptunus sailing school in the harbor of Idskenhuizen you can rent a boat or bike and moor the boat at the jetty of the house. From Idskenhuizen, places like Langweer, Joure and Sloten are easily accessible by boat. There is a forest with hiking trails 2 km away.

Introduction
We are Rick, Arjanne, Thijn, Seb and Noortje. For a year now, we have been the proud owners of a lovely holiday home in Friesland. In the past period, we have been working hard to get the house ready for renting. In recent years, we have regularly been on holiday in Friesland and have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the many waters. Reason to look for a house on the water ourselves. We love activities in, on and by the water. And Friesland is very suitable for that!
Tips from the host
The house is located directly on the water, which immediately provides water fun. A sup and surfboard are available that can be used. Less than 100 meters from the house is a beach on a shallow lake. Great for swimming or (learning to) surf. In the harbor of Idskenhuizen is sailing school Neptunus and recreation park Idskenhuizen where it is also possible to rent a sailboat or sloop. From Idskenhuizen you can easily sail to Langweer, Joure, Woudsend, Sloten etc.
