Between Workum and Hindeloopen lies 'Farmhouse on the Head', peacefully situated in the open Frisian countryside. Here, you will stay in a comfortable apartment with an unobstructed view of the former Zuiderzee seabed and towards the IJsselmeer. From the accommodation, you can easily walk or cycle towards Workum, passing a small nature reserve and the Toarntsje. From the dike, you look out over the water, the beach, and the harbor. In the center, you will find terraces at the Waag, a variety of shops, galleries, and the Jopie Huisman Museum. Hindeloopen is also nearby, within walking and cycling distance; a cozy town with narrow streets, a harbor, and views of the IJsselmeer. Here, you can stroll past old facades, museums such as the Hindeloopen Skating Museum, and local shops.
