Smûk Huske is a small cozy house with a hot tub next to a nostalgic farm
Small cozy house located next to a nostalgic farm. The house is modern and very tastefully decorated. It is suitable for two to four people. Through the entrance you enter the open kitchen, which is fully equipped with, among other things, a Nespresso, refrigerator and stove. The living room has a cozy sitting area and a nice box bed for the children. The bathroom has a shower and sink. The house has a loft with a double bed. Outside you can use the veranda with a hot tub next to it. Isn't that the ultimate enjoyment? You can use the hot tub. There is an electric boat rental available and the children will have a lot of fun on the climbing frame. There are goats, chickens for fresh eggs and cows and horses in the meadow and you can buy fresh products in the on-site farm shop. In the farm barn you will find a cozy living room. Who would have thought that hay bales could be so stylish? The soft light bulbs hang playfully throughout the room. The farmhouse tables are perfect for an evening of gourmet dining or a game of Rummikub. The living room is a place where you can be together, but also where you can retreat and enjoy the peace that the old building radiates. Sometimes they drink a cup of coffee and children play in the children's kitchen. At other times it is quiet and you can relax in one of the vintage chairs for a lazy afternoon.

Smûk offers you an outdoor holiday in the Frisian countryside. You will find the Smûk Hûske there; a hip and cozy house with a hot tub, the Smûk Tiny, a 2-person Tiny with a view over the meadow and the Smûk glamping tents. Enjoy a relaxing holiday on the farm. A short walk through the landscape between the cows will take you to the jetty at Pier Christiaansloot, where the electric boats and canoes are moored. You walk along this canal to the village of Echtenerbrug/Delfstrahuizen where there is a beach on the Tjeukemeer. From the farm you can easily sail into the beautiful Frisian lake area. Including Sloten, Lemmer and Langweer or across the Tjonger. Discover the unspoilt nature of the Weerribben and the Rottige Meente, a beautiful walking and cycling area. The Orchid Farm is highly recommended, with its butterfly garden, Alpacas and indoor playground for the children. Be sure to visit the town of Lemmer, a cozy center with nice terraces and nice shops. You can reach Leeuwarden in 45 minutes, where you can do more extensive shopping, climb the Oldenhove tower or visit the Nature or Frisian museum.

Experience & Enjoy, This winter, musical 'De Tocht' brings the magic of The Elfstedentocht to life in the specially built Friso Theater with a rotating ice floor of more than 2,000 m². Enjoy the Eleven Cities magic with the whole family. It's pouring! Do you want to experience the magic of the Elfstedentocht? That's possible, Musical De Tocht is a Dutch and Frisian theater show that tells you the impressive story of five skating friends. They have lost sight of each other over the years. They used to agree that if The Tour ever takes place, they will finish it together. It's an impressive and unique experience if you ask us! We understand that you do not want to leave our beautiful province immediately after seeing the musical. So stay with us in the Smûk Tiny (2 persons) or Smûk Huske (4 persons) and discover all the beauty that Fryslân has to offer! Smûk is a 40-minute drive to the Friso Theater in Leeuwarden. The Tour runs every Wednesday to Sunday until January 31, 2024. Package 'the Tour' We have put together a special (free) package for this beautiful musical. What could be better suited to the Elfstedentocht than a nice, 'kâld kletske'. Afterwards you drive to Smûk and there will be a 'kâld kletske' with an accompanying glass in the house. This way you can enjoy and chat about this great spectacle! Cheers! NB! You are a guest of Gert and Crista Diever. We are now the 3rd generation living on this beautiful Stelp farm from 1850. Living and working in an authentic building is unique! We would like to share this beautiful spot in Friesland on the water near the Tjeukemeer with you. Come spend the night at Smûkrecreatie, in our Smûk Huske and since this year we have our Smûk Tiny, Smûk tents and a small camping field.
