De Zilt is a 38-foot sailing yacht with a keel centerboard, making it suitable for Friesland, the IJsselmeer, and the Wadden Sea. With a minimum draft of 1.10 meters, you can sail in many places and even run aground on the Wadden Sea. The boat has three cabins with six fixed berths and extra berths in the saloon. Inside, you will find a spacious saloon with a practical galley, an electric toilet, and a shower with hot water. Heating and 12V and 230V electricity with an inverter ensure comfort on board. Outside, you sail with a spacious cockpit and a double helm. Autopilot, bow thruster, and stern thruster make sailing and maneuvering relaxed. This harbor is located on the edge of Makkum, close to several other harbors and a large holiday park. The location is the ideal base for exploring the IJsselmeer, the Wadden Sea and the Frisian lakes by boat. Within five minutes of sailing you are already on the IJsselmeer and you can make the most beautiful sailing and boating trips.

Tornado Yachting is located on the outskirts of Makkum. The marina is situated between several other marinas, and there is ample parking for your car. In the immediate vicinity of the marina, there are a number of restaurants located within a maximum walking distance of 2 kilometers. The center of the village of Makkum can also be reached in less than two kilometers on foot. Here you will find a supermarket, bakery, and various other shops and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the marina, there is a small nature reserve where you can take a pleasant walk.

Introduction
Tornado Yachting, your sailing partner since 1992 Tornado Sailing Makkum B.V., trading as Tornado Yachting, was established in 1992 through the merger of five Sneek yacht charter companies: Van der Meulen, Moed, Frisia Yachtcharter, Tornado Yachting, and Gessport. This merger immediately established Tornado Yachting as a leading player in Frisian watersports, with a large customer base and a modern rental fleet. To meet the growing demand for larger charter vessels, we moved to our current location in Makkum in 2007. Here, in a unique location overlooking the IJsselmeer, the Frisian Lakes, and the Wadden Sea, we were able to further develop our quality, innovation, and service. In 2012, I, Jurre-Jan Muurling, took over Tornado Yachting. At the time, the rental fleet consisted of six boats, and the focus was on selling Delphia Yachts. We have since grown into a full-service watersports company.
