Hiker's cabin for 4 people with a beautiful view
The hiker's cabin is simple but fully equipped for four people. There are two bunk beds with a mattress and pillow. In addition, there is a table with chairs in the room and there is a simple cooking facility. There is also a heater if needed. The hiker's cabin itself does not have a bathroom with a shower and toilet, but there is a sanitary unit behind the hiker's cabin that you can use.

Trekkershutten Nijhuizum
The hikers' cabins are located on the grounds of a dairy farm. Both hikers' cabins are located in the middle of nature and on the water. You therefore enjoy a beautiful view! In addition to the dairy farm, there is also a tea garden on the site, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or a pastry when the weather is nice. In addition to the cows from the dairy farm, various barn owls also nest in the farm, many geese can be seen in winter and you will be greeted by dog Billie on arrival. You are welcome to bring your own dog! In addition, there are also many other animals on the site.
Location
The hikers' cabins are located in the middle of nature. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Oudegaaster Bokken and you can make beautiful cycling trips towards Gaastmeer (crossing with a ferry!) or Workum. Both Gaastmeer and Workum can be reached in about 5 kilometers.

- Upon departure, you must leave the hiker's cabin and the sanitary facilities in a tidy condition - If desired, you can book an additional breakfast (€10 p.p.). - You must bring your own duvet or sleeping bag, as well as a pillow and mattress cover. However, it is also possible to order a sheet package for €10.00 per bed.
