Luxury holiday home in Âlde Feanen National Park near the Frisian lakes
This beautiful home is located on a private island. You park your car, step aboard the electric sloop and sail straight to the house! This modern house is fully equipped and has a spacious living room with a beautiful view over the Âlde Feanen National Park. The living area includes a seating area situated around a soapstone stove. There is a dining area and a nice kitchen, which is fully equipped and includes an oven, refrigerator and a Takumi barbecue outside. There are four bedrooms with a total of room for seven people. The bedrooms contain either double beds or two single beds. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The bathrooms have a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a separate toilet in the house.

These two holiday homes, located on an island, are truly unique! Here you can really relax and enjoy nature. The houses each have a boat so you can get to the house with dry feet. The area is ideal for relaxing and discovering the Alde Feanen National Park.

The house cannot be reached by car, the last part you sail to the holiday home in an electric sloop. This is included in your stay. In the winter period - when the lock is closed - the house is also accessible on foot.

- Due to its location in a nature reserve, this holiday home is not suitable for parties or events - No rental to groups of young people (aged under 30) - Not wheelchair friendly - Use of electric boat, canoe, sup-board, optimist, raft with motor is included - A polyvalk/sailing boat with outboard motor can be rented for EUR 350 per week - Smoking and pets are not allowed

Introduction
We (family with 3 teenage children) have been enjoying this unique relaxation spot for years. Occasionally we have had enough of the hustle and bustle of the city of Utrecht (where we live) and then we can relax at Landgoed Âld Heach Hiem. In May 2021 we (our own hands) built a luxury holiday home (semi-detached) here, to share the place with others who love peace, nature and water sports.
