Welcome on board! The VaarHuizen are the most famous professionally sailing Houseboats in the Netherlands. In addition to a spacious front terrace on deck, this (especially) cozy VaarChalet has 4 sleeping places. Once inside, guests are quickly impressed by the space. In addition to the cozy wooden beam atmosphere, this VaarChalet has 220V electricity (like at home) with central heating, a bathroom with a shower, a separate toilet, a kitchen with a large refrigerator and a Nespresso coffee machine. Unique, because with VaarHuis Vakanties you do not sail the boat yourself, but here you are sailed around with your own Houseboat. Ask the VaarHuis Crew about the possibilities! These Houseboats are moored on open water at holiday park RCN de Potten, near Beachclub Sneek and the famous Sneekermeer. The cozy shopping village of Joure and the famous city of Sneek, also known as Snits, are just a 10-minute drive away. At RCN de Potten you can enjoy a wonderful view of one of the most iconic Frisian lakes. This top location is also located on beautiful cycling routes. At holiday park RCN de Potten you can easily rent bicycles and E-choppers. Would you rather go out on the water? Then rent a boat for a day of sailing or rent a SUP board. For children there is also plenty to do in the summer with club Sammy and his friends. Don't feel like cooking? Settle down in the Brasserie of the park, enjoy a snack or drink or visit the new pavilion of Beachclub Sneek across the road. For adventurers, the famous Starteiland is just a five-minute walk away, accessible by ferry. Or visit Strand Sneek for plenty of fun. In the immediate vicinity you will find activities for young and old. Be surprised by the water ski slope, cozy catering, the newest AquaPark and more. In Joure you will find a fantastic Subtropical Swimming Pool Swimfun... In short, a stay on board is an unforgettable experience for everyone in the heart of Friesland!

Unique in Friesland, because at VaarHuis Vakanties you don't rent a boat yourself, with us you are sailed by the VaarHuis Crew! You book for your stay on board a unique Houseboat on a basic accommodation arrangement. You will then be moored at a truly top location and you can book an additional sailing arrangement (not mandatory). Please note: the location where the VaarChalet is located is Holiday Park RCN de Potten: De Potten 2-38, 8626 GG in Offingawier (near the Sneekermeer)
