The Zuiderzee view room has a beautiful view over the former Zuiderzee, nowadays IJsselmeer. The rooms are located on the ground floor as well as on the first and second floors. The rooms on the ground floor have a private terrace and the rooms on the first and second floor have a balcony. The room is equipped with two comfortable single box-spring beds, a sitting area, desk and television, as well as coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and hairdryer.

Strandhotel Vigilante in Makkum offers stylish rooms with a beautiful view of the IJsselmeer or the recreational area of the area. The hotel is located just outside the old Frisian fishing village of Makkum, directly on the sandy beach and the lively boulevard. With the IJsselmeer on the doorstep and the Wadden Sea five kilometers away, this accommodation is the ideal base for water sports enthusiasts and sun worshipers. Start your day with a relaxing walk on the beach, after which you will discover the Frisian Eleven Cities. Both Sneek and Harlingen are less than a 20-minute drive away. The hotel has a lounge with a fireplace where you can relax. From the restaurant you look out over the IJsselmeer and you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. When the weather is nice you can of course take a seat outside on the terrace.

This hotel has a unique location. Strandhotel Vigilante is located directly on the IJsselmeer, only separated by a wide beach and boulevard with various restaurants and shops. From the hotel you can not only enjoy beautiful walks on the beach, but there is also plenty of opportunity for other beautiful walks. The center of Makkum is located at less than 3 kilometers, about half an hour's walk.
