De Kombuis is a spacious group accommodation by the water. It is rented on a self-catering basis and features a large communal area with a fully equipped kitchen, a generous dining table, and a cozy sitting area with comfortable chairs and sofas. The kitchen is equipped with a 6-burner induction cooktop, combination oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and kettle. The eight bedrooms accommodate a total of 36 people and each have a private shower and toilet.

Special about this accommodation
De Kombuis is located directly on the water and has its own jetty where guests can use SUPs, canoes, and kickbikes free of charge. The grounds include a beach volleyball court, a climbing frame for children, and fitness equipment. During the summer months, a spacious stretch tent is set up on the waterfront, which can be used upon request. All rooms have a private shower and toilet, and the kitchen is fully equipped for groups.

Tips from the host
Waterherberg It Beaken is located directly on the Heegermeer, the largest lake in Friesland, where you can sail almost to the IJsselmeer without fixed bridges. Along the way there are many free moorings and buoys for a stopover. For those seeking peace and quiet, we have the Poelengebied a very short distance from Heeg, a beautiful nature reserve that you can discover with your SUP or canoe. We also have this for rent. Would you rather cycle? That is also possible, you can purchase a route map from us. Renting a bicycle (e-bike) is also possible. Inquire without obligation about the possibilities.
