A short distance away are several pearls such as the IJsselmeer, the Gaasterlandse Bossen and the Fluessen, as well as charming towns and villages. Various activities are possible along the IJsselmeer and coast, including kite surfing. Lemmer beach is definitely worth a visit during your stay and has a beautiful Beach Club where you can enjoy the terrace. There are various cycling and walking paths in the forests of Gaasterland that you can walk or cycle.
