B&B Zathe de Spieker
Our Frisian farm from 1890 has been converted into a farmhouse with B&B while retaining authentic details. The B&B has its own entrance and three luxurious, spacious, modern guest rooms on the ground floor, each with a private bathroom en suite and a small fridge (0dB). There is a communal breakfast room with kitchen equipped with a microwave. With parking in the yard and bicycle shed in the coach house (incl. charging). The B&B is detached, surrounded by meadows, in the quiet Greidhoeke meadow area, within cycling distance of the Frisian Eleven Cities and the meadow bird areas of Natuurmonumenten. It is beautiful here for walking, cycling and boating. You can rent bicycles, e-bikes and hop on from the B&B. You can relax on our terrace and garden. There are cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Sleep well and enjoy a freshly prepared, varied, luxurious breakfast in the morning. With fast, free WiFi fiber optic. This B&B is suitable for recreational and business stays and is wheelchair friendly. Also selling homemade jams.
Location
This B&B is located in a detached farmhouse surrounded by meadows, located in the peaceful Greidhoeke meadow area. The Frisian meadow area with large red-black covered farms, picturesque mound villages and the meadow bird areas Skrok and Skrins of Natuurmonumenten. Wonderful tranquility with beautiful paths through the villages and meadows and within cycling distance of the Frisian Eleven Cities. There is much to discover in the surrounding mound villages. We call it Wieuwerd, world famous because of the 4 mummies in the crypt of the church. In the yard are orchards, flower borders, herb and vegetable garden, guest terrace and a goat meadow. Our two goats are in the meadow. You will certainly meet our three cats in the yard. Chickens scurry in the yard. You can relax on the guest terrace. It is beautiful here for walking, cycling and boating. You can rent bicycles, e-bikes and hop on from the B&B. There are also walks near the B&B. There are cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
