Cruise Balk - Heeg
A unique experience in Friesland: on a sailing turn ferry from Balk to Heeg. You can sail with the skûtsje Aleida Hendrika from Balk via Woudsend to Heeg in approximately 2.5 hours. You can help hoist and lower the sails and take the helm yourself on the Slotermeer and the Heegermeer. You take your bicycle on board. From Heeg you can then take a beautiful bike ride of 18 or 28 km. back to Balk. Ask the skipper for a nice route.

Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before departure time. A maximum of 12 guests can be on board. Reservations are required. Full is full.

Skûtsjeverhuur “Haghe” operates a sailing ferry between Heeg and Balk between May and September with the skûtsje Aleida Hendrika. We make a sailing trip of approximately 2½ hours. You take your bicycle on board and from Heeg or Balk you take a cycle ride back through Gaasterland and along the Frisian lakes (18 or 28 km). You can also book a return trip.
