Cruise Heeg - Balk
Experience Friesland at its best and join a sailing ferry between Heeg and Balk! You can sail with the skûtsje Aleida Hendrika from Heeg via Woudsend to Balk in approximately 2.5 hours. You can help hoist and lower the sails and take the helm yourself on the Heegermeer and the Slotermeer. You take your bicycle on board. From Balk you can then take a beautiful bike ride of 18 or 28 km. back to Heeg. Ask the skipper for a nice route. Or you can choose to sail back to Heeg from Balk in the afternoon.

Location
Boarding point Heeg: At the end of the Heegerwal tourist harbor, Pharshoeke 101 (WSH/SFT building). Parking is available on the road or in the parking lots at Harinxmastrjitte.
Important to know
Dress according to the weather. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before departure time. A maximum of 12 guests can be on board. Reservations are mandatory. First come, first served.

Skûtsjeverhuur “Haghe” operates a sailing ferry between Heeg and Balk between May and September with the skûtsje Aleida Hendrika. We make a sailing trip of approximately 2½ hours. You take your bicycle on board and from Heeg or Balk you take a cycle ride back through Gaasterland and along the Frisian lakes (18 or 28 km). You can also book a return trip.
