Evening Cruise De Palingaak
Take an evening cruise from Heeg with Palingaak Korneliske Ykes II. This barge is a reconstruction of the old eel barges and tells the story of the former eel trade by sea. You sail over the Heegermeer: one of the many Frisian lakes in Friesland. On board you will be offered a drink and a snack, including smoked eel for the enthusiast. Costs are €27.50 for adults and €17.50 for children. You also support the De Palingaak Foundation for keeping this special ship in service.

Location
The eel barge is located at the head of the old harbor basin: De Skatting 81, 8621 BV in Heeg. You can park at various places in Heeg. Do take extra (walking) time into account.
Important to know
Please be there 15 minutes before the departure time. Sailing clothes are on board, and sufficient life jackets are also available. Preferably no shoes with leather soles. Depending on the weather conditions, dress warmly. The Palingaak will check whether it is actually possible to sail. The cruise will continue if at least 6 people are registered (older than 8). The max. number of people is 12.
