With the Simmerwille to SKS Terherne
Sail with De Simmerwille to the Frisian event of the year: the SKS Skûtsjesilen. The sailing competition will take place in Terherne on Wednesday 30 July 2025. With De Simmerwille you sail from Joure to Terherne to experience the event from the water.

Location
The ship is in the water in front of the Imperial Tabacco at Slachtedyk 28a in Joure. Parking is possible at the indicated parking lot (sign P Brouwer Rondvaarten).
Important to know
Coffee, tea, and lunch are included. Drinks are at your own expense. The Simmerwille departs at 2:00 PM. Please be on board 15 minutes beforehand so the ship can depart on time. The race starts at 3:15 PM. The finish time is subject to change due to weather conditions. Tip: Bring binoculars for a clear view of the race.
