With the Simmerwille to SKS Woudsend
Sail with De Simmerwille to the Frisian event of the year: the SKS Skûtsjesilen. The sailing competition will take place in Woudsend on Monday 4 August 2025. With De Simmerwille you sail from Joure to Woudsend to experience the event from the water.

Location
The ship is moored in the water in front of the Imperial Tabacco at Slachtedyk 28a in Joure. Parking is possible in the indicated parking lot (sign P Brouwer Rondvaarten).
Important to know
Coffee, tea, and lunch are included. Drinks are at your own expense. The Simmerwille departs at 11:00 AM. Please arrive 15 minutes early so the ship can depart on time. The race starts at 2:00 PM. The finish time is subject to change due to weather conditions. Tip: Bring binoculars for a clear view of the race.
