Guided city walk through IJlst

Take a guided walking tour through the historic city center of IJlst (Drylts) led by a city guide. The walk lasts approximately one hour. The guide will take you through the story of the Timber City of IJlst and its sights. There is room for a maximum of 15 people. Is your group larger? The activities start at the Tourist Information Office in Museum Houtstad IJlst. Address: Sneekerpad 14, 8651 NE, IJlst. Parking is available at the Tourist Information Office/museum.


Important to know

Please arrive at the Tourist Information Office 5 minutes before the start. Regarding clothing in general: keep an eye on the weather. Good shoes are recommended for walking. The city walk is suitable for wheelchair users.

Stichting Beleef IJlst

Organization of local tourist office activities and provider of information to visitors and tourists. We organize city walks through IJlst and boat tours with an open historical boat. Additionally, we collect fees for permanent moorings for boats, as well as for transient/temporary berths and camper pitches.
