The pond chalet and cliff chalet are located on a part of an existing recreation park in Oudemirdum. Oudemirdum is a cozy village with many restaurants, bicycle rental and not to be missed is the visitor center Mar & Klif. In the immediate vicinity of Oudemirdum you will find the Gaasterlandse forests where you can enjoy walking. In addition, three of the cliffs of the Netherlands are also close to the recreation park! Are you going to the Minserklif, the Oudemirdumerklif or the Roode Klif? Stavoren, Hindelopen and Sloten, three of the Eleven Cities, are about a fifteen minute drive from Oudemirdum and are definitely worth a visit!
