Genieten op het water is located on the outskirts of Heeg; via open waterways, you can reach Lake Heeg within 5 minutes. Although situated on the edge of the village, the center of Heeg is still within walking distance, as you can quickly walk to the center via a small tunnel. In this center, you will find a supermarket, many restaurants, and several charming shops, among other things. Within a fifteen-minute drive, you can reach IJlst or Sneek, two of the famous Eleven Cities of Friesland.
