Unique! That is the best way to describe this water tower hotel. The name says it all, this hotel is located in a former water tower. There are two rooms in the hotel, 'Aqua' and 'Turrem'. Both chambers are located in what used to be the water reservoir. Because you are at a great height (the tower is 41m high!) you have a beautiful view all around. On clear days you can see for miles!

This hotel, realized in a former water tower, is located in Nes, the twin village of Akkrum. Akkrum has a supermarket, bakery and several restaurants. You can reach picturesque villages such as Terherne and Grou in no time by car. The eleven-city city of Sneek can be reached by car in less than half an hour. Due to its location on the water, and the possibility to rent a (sailing) boat in Akkrum, you can also explore the area from the water.
